How can I import contacts into Contacts tab?

It may be important for you to be able to import contacts from external sources, .CSV file, Gmail or Hotmail accounts, into GuestCentric application.

To import contacts from a .CSV file click here.

To import contacts from Gmail or Hotmail click here.

STEP 1:  First you need to go to the CONTACTS tab and click on the Import button.

STEP 2:  A window with 3 options will appear.If you want to import contacts from an existing .CSV file choose Upload File. 

STEP 3:  Choose the .CSV file from your computer and click Open.

STEP 4: If the import of the file was correct a green check sign is shown. Click on Import to continue.

STEP 5:  A list of the contacts that will be imported will appear. You can uncheck the ones you don't want to be imported. Click on Import.

STEP 6:  Finally, the list of imported contacts will be shown.

If you want to import contacts from Gmail or Hotmail is the same procedure for both providers.

STEP 1:  Choose Gmail or Hotmail and click Import

STEP 2: Click on Yes. This will authorize the connection with you Gmail or Hotmail account.

STEP 3: Click on Allow to continue.

STEP 4: A list of the contacts that will be imported will appear. You can uncheck the ones you don't want to be imported. Click on Import.

STEP 5: Finally, the list of imported contacts will be shown.

You now have the contacts imported to the Guestcentric application.

ATTENTION:

• Contacts with no email will be considered invalid (not imported)
• Empty lines will be considered invalid (not imported)
• Anything after the expected formatting will be ignored (imported)
• Anything besides 0/1 for the newsletter will be assumed to be 0 (imported)
• The .csv must have this formatting: name,email,phone,newsletter (1=Yes; 0=No)
