Rate Plan not visible on the Booking Engine
HOME> Setup > Rate plans
Are your newly created rates missing from your Booking Engine?
If you have recently created a rate plan and it does not appear on your booking engine, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue
Step 1: Check if sales are open
When creating a new rate plan, GuestCentric includes a safety setting called "Open sales later", which is checked by default.
Why is this enabled?
It acts as a protection layer, allowing you to review your rate plan fully before making it live on a 24/7 online platform
It also lets you prepare rate plans in advance for future activation (mise-en-place). There are two different options:
A) Manual: Once you are satisfied with the rate setup, open sales using the Revenue Calendar or via PowerUpdate
B) Automatically: While creating the rate plan, uncheck the "Open sales later" box before saving
Step 2: Verify rate plan assignment
If sales are open but the rate is still not visible, verify that the rate plan and room combination are enabled for that specific booking engine.
1. Go to HyperCommerce / Custom Booking Engines
2. Navigate to your list of External Booking Engines
3. Locate the relevant booking engine and double-click to open it
4. Click Edit
5. Select the "BEOffers tab"
6. Check the room/rate plan combinations: ensure the specific offer is moved to the right-hand panel (Active/Selected offers)
7. Save your changes and refresh your booking engine page
Note on Meta Channels:
The exact same logic applies to meta channels. You can choose which rate and room combinations are visible on each meta search channel.
When creating a new rate plan, we recommend checking your meta channel setup to ensure it is configured correctly:
HyperCommerce > Meta Channels > Select the Meta Channel > Check the rates and room combinations.
