How can I define a specific sell limit for OTA's?
STEP 1: For this purpose, you need to go into SETUP - CHANNEL SETTINGS.
STEP 2: Select channel Booking.com or ExpediaQuickConnect from the list and double-click on it.
STEP 3: On the next screen scroll down until you find the CHANNEL ALLOCATION section.
By default is set to have the same limit of your own booking engine availabilities, but as soon as you select SET SALES LIMIT PER WEEKDAY, you will be able to limit the sales for ALL ROOMS or PER ROOM.
This can be done for all weekdays or for specific ones, bearing in mind that this is a general setting that will apply to your whole calendar year. You cannot set this seasonally.
STEP 4: To complete the process hit .
STEP 5: Now go to REVENUE tab and make sure you PUBLISH the pending changes. Only after that, your new allocation settings will be applied to Booking.com & Expedia.
If an open sales is set manually (through revenue, range update, PMS..) for some date which is closed or if is sent a stop sales manually before availability get the sell limit value, this sell limit rule will not perform any more on this date.
Also if an open sales is sent for some date manually, this date will still be open even if the availability is lower than sell limit.
If the PMS sends availability lower than sell limit Guestcentric system will send a stop sales for the channel on this date
If availability is lower than the sell limit and a cancellation changes the availability to be greater than the sell limit again, then it will be sent ab open sales for the channel on this date.
If the hotelier has configured a minimum contracted room on channel, GuestCentric will not send the stop sales.
